I reorder, parapharmacies don't like it

 Gasparri Tomassini

Among parapharmacy pharmacists, the Gasparri-Tomassini bill (in the photo Maurizio Gasparri and Antonio Tomassini) seems to attract criticism above all. "The bill 863 is a sword of Damocles over the heads of all of us" is for example the judgment of Marco Esposito, president of the Fef "this design pushes the parapharmacies towards closure. The idea of having us distribute "starter" drugs doesn't stand, they are "uneconomical" for those who should buy them and for those who should produce them. It would ruin thousands of pharmacists after the investments they made to open. Unemployment would grow and the state would be left without the tax revenues guaranteed by our companies". Esposito is also severe towards Fofi: «We no longer feel represented. It is inconceivable that the Order shares a law which authorizes the sale of medicines without the presence of a pharmacist». Alessandro Mazzacca, president of Being Pharmacists, appears to be on the same wavelength. «As conceived, bill 863 does not help, but damages. Even if a further "switch" from the C band to the Sop band of some specialties were obtained, it would not be enough to revive the fortunes of the parapharmacies. For this reason we ask that a competition for seats reserved for the owners of parapharmacies and owners of rural pharmacies be foreseen in the reorganization. A request that some time ago we presented to Fofi, but unfortunately it was not accepted».
