Savona. Corruption and comparison: these are the hypotheses of crimes being examined by the Public Prosecutor of Savona in the context of an investigation into alleged bonuses to promote a company medicine to the detriment of the competition. Ten people ended up in the register of suspects, including seven doctors and two representatives of a pharmaceutical company, as well as an importer of medicines.
The investigation is coordinated by prosecutor Daniela Pischetola. According to what has been learned, among the suspects is the city councilor of Cairo Amatore Morando.
For the investigation opened by the prosecutor's office, searches were launched throughout the province, with investigative checks on drug orders and prescriptions in the offices of a pharmaceutical company with registered office in Savona; finally, checks also implemented in doctors' offices and pharmacies.
