On 18 June 2022 it took place in Lamezia Terme (CZ), at the parish hall of the Church of San 
Giuseppe Artigiano, a BLSD course organized by the association of pharmaceutical representatives of the Crotone, Catanzaro and Vibo Valentia section in collaboration with the Calabria Cardioprotetta company. The course, lasting 6 hours, involved 12 scientific representatives who were engaged not only in learning the theoretical part carried out by the tutor Giuseppe, 118 nurse at the Crotone hospital, but also in carrying out practical activities concerning:
- Learn CPR
- Learn to use a DEA
- Learn the unblocking maneuvers of an adult and an infant
The practical part was carried out on dummies by dividing the informants into groups of two in order to allow everyone, with the assistance of three tutors, to practice for the time necessary to learn how to correctly carry out actions 1,2 and 3. At the end of the course, the informants took the learning quiz 
necessary to obtain the CPR and DEA operator certificate.
The feedback from the participants was more than positive, both for the contents of the theoretical part and for the development of the practical part and for the skills of the tutors. The climate of the course was characterized by collaboration and enthusiasm among the informants who, obviously, have already booked to carry out a new course for the renewal of the obtained license in two years' time!
