National Contract of Chemists  (<- click to consult the CCNL)

Having started with three separate platforms, the chemists arrived positively – after a close confrontation – at a unitary agreement. The hypothetical agreement between Filcem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl, Uilcem-Uil, Federchimica and Farmindustria for the renewal of the national contract in the chemical sector was signed today, Friday 18 December, in Milan - and before the deadline of 31 December next - pharmaceutical sector referring to the three-year period 1 January 2010 - 31 December 2012 (over 200,000 workers involved, employed in more than 1,700 companies, 90% of which are small and medium-sized). The signed agreement provides for an overall average increase of 150 euros, of which 135 euros distributed over the minimums (cat. D1); 13 euros on the supplementary pension funds ("Fonchim") and health ("Faschim"); 2 euro of revaluation of the premium for those who do not have the company contract. Alberto Morselli (Filctem-Cgil): "It was a real negotiation, no automatism deriving from the separate agreement was applied. Thus a path for union unity can start again". Now the agreement will be submitted to the judgment of the workers in the assemblies.
