In the family doctor's office, drug sales representatives are welcome only if vaccinated against influenza A, to avoid that, by visiting several clinics a day, they amplify the circulation of the virus. It is the provocative proposal of Eugenio Sinesio, family doctor of the Colleferro district (Rm) and trade unionist, who will post the notice in his office and invites the other white coats of general medicine to do the same. "A scientific drug rep - explains Sinesio - visits eight doctors a day. And he waits in the room with at least 10 patients for each white coat, people who obviously may have health problems. The reps, therefore, are potential vectors and amplifiers of the circulation of the virus, more than the single doctor who only visits his patients". So "I will not welcome pharmaceutical informants into my office who do not demonstrate that they have been vaccinated against the pandemic, at least in the current state", Sinesio reiterates, also recalling the invitations to family doctors to get vaccinated by the president of the Federation of Doctors' Orders and the majority union in the category, as well as the request of the informants themselves to be included in the categories to be vaccinated.
