IQVIA, in the midst of the coronavirus emergency, checks with the complicity of some doctors if the ISFs call to spread "propaganda"

A doctor informs us that he has received the email shown below. The doctor expresses all his disappointment for an initinitiative of the kind which, according to him, represents not only a lack of sensitivity at least in a moment like this of health emergency, but also a completely inappropriate initiative and a looting operation. The doctor asks us if everything is legal as they say.

egr. Doctor, obviously there is nothing legal in operations of this kind simply because it is a marketing operation whose purpose is the monitoring of scientific information. How is, or at least should, be known the scientific information of the drug according to the art. 122 and 126 of Legislative Decree 219/06 depends on a scientific service independent of marketing and on which marketing cannot carry out any control. Anonymity is alone formal, it is enough to know who the participating doctors are and it is easy to trace the ISF thus configuring a violation of law 300 of 1970 for improper control of work activity. It is also a violation of the Emilia Romagna regional application on scientific information.

In a moment of coronavirus health emergency, leaving aside the sensitivity that is a utopia for people like this, all the doctors are totally taken and busy dealing with the emergency, something like this disturbs (to be good) at least a service of public necessity or utility (art. 340 criminal code). And if we want to talk about our opinion, at a time like this things like this are a shame for human beings. Let's hope it's a hoax!
